Your wedding day should feel like the best party of your life.
The belly laughs, the bad dancing, the “oh wow, this is real” feels.

Your wedding day is going to feel like a blur – and that’s not a flaw, that’s what happens when you live a day this full. Our job is to hold the timeline, the tissues, the snacks, and the calm so you don’t have to. Documentary, story-first photography is what we do.
We’ve photographed 640+ weddings together and we still get teary at first looks. We know where the safety pins are. We know what to say when you’re nervous. We know when to step out of the frame so a moment can be yours, and when to quietly catch the one you didn’t notice was happening. Most of what we’ve learned in 15 years doesn’t fit on a website – but it shows up the second something doesn’t go according to plan.
We’re the people who notice you haven’t eaten since breakfast and quietly hand you a granola bar. The ones who fix your bustle when it falls. Who tell your photographer-shy uncle a quick joke before family photos so he loosens up. Who hand mom a tissue without making it a moment. The whole point is for you to be present on your wedding day – and the only way that happens is if someone else is paying attention to everything else.

All love. All bodies. All stories. Always welcome here. LGBTQIA+ and plus-size friendly wedding photographers – because how we show up should match what we say.
640+ weddings -> 640+ families who let us into the most personal day of their lives at over 100 Snohomish County venues. We don’t take that lightly.
15+ years -> 15 years of weddings means we’ve seen what works, what doesn’t, and what nobody tells you. You don’t have to figure it out alone
380+ five-star reviews on WeddingWire, Google, The Knot, Facebook, BBB and Yelp -> Real couples and the vendors we worked alongside. Read what they actually said
Coordination -> Kate is a certified wedding coordinator – which mostly matters because it makes our photography sharper. We’ve stood on both sides of the timeline. We know what coordinators are doing, when, and why. That makes us calmer, faster, and easier to collaborate with on your wedding day. If you need a coordinator, ask us – we have favorites. We’ll send you to one of them.

Most of what we do for you happens before your wedding day. The text at 11pm when you can’t decide between two cake flavors. The timeline draft we sent before you knew you needed one. The vendor we recommended because we know they’ll show up the way you need them to.
Our job is to protect your wedding day experience. That starts the day you book us and runs through the gallery delivery. Building timelines. Calming nerves. Helping you find vendors. Being the person you text at 11pm when you can't decide between two bouquets. Whatever you need - that's part of why you hired us.
The candid moments people love in their galleries don't happen because the camera is good. They happen because your people felt comfortable. We're chameleons at weddings - we read the room fast, match the energy, and become whatever your day needs us to be. Sometimes that's quiet. Sometimes that's part of the family.
We call our editing Color Integrity, true-to-life, and it means your photos look like your day actually looked. Your skin tone is your identity, not a canvas for a preset. The colors you chose stay the colors you chose. Five years from now, ten, twenty - your wedding photos will still feel like yours, because nothing about how we edited them was trying to be trendy.
Whether you’re deep in the planning trenches or you just got engaged and have no idea where to start, you’re in the right place. We’ve spent 15+ years and 640+ weddings learning what works, what doesn’t, and what nobody tells you until it’s too late. We put all of it here. Real weddings that’ll make you feel something. Honest guides that answer the question you Googled at midnight. No fluff, no filler. Just the stuff that helps you show up to your wedding day feeling ready – and leaves you with photos that feel like yours.
After 15 years and 640+ weddings, we know exactly what a wedding day needs – and what it doesn’t. Every timeline we build, every vendor question we answer, every moment we quietly anticipate happens so that when your wedding day arrives, you’re not managing it. You’re living it.
Don’t take our word for it. Take theirs. We showed up, did the work, and let the day speak for itself. Here’s what they said after.
I wanted to share my amazing experience with Kate and Josh! I thought I left a review a year ago but was showing their website to my friend and realized I must not have. I would highly recommend them for both your engagement photos and wedding. It was super helpful to work with Kate on our engagement photos first, as it can feel awkward getting your photo taken if you’re not used to it. Practicing and learning several poses during our engagement photos was really key in feeling flawless and confident during our wedding photos. Kate really worked her magic with our photos during our wedding and Josh was great at getting all the shots from different angles and the candid ones of our guests. Kate paid so much attention to how I was feeling, anticipated what I needed, and brought me back down to earth whenever I was anxious. Don’t bother looking any further, you need to book them now! Our wedding experience was spectacular thanks to Kate and Josh!
From the first meeting, Kate was a fountain of knowledge and resources. She helped guide us in the planning process and made it so we didn’t have to think about the details on the day of. She is incredibly easy to work with and very thorough, getting all the pictures we could possibly want. On the day of, both Kate and Josh brought a fun and excited atmosphere that got everyone out of their shell and made for some fantastic photos. We HIGHLY recommend Kate and Josh for your big day.
Kate and Josh were the photographers at our wedding a little over a year ago. I was so picky about the specific style of photos I was looking for and the types of shots we wanted to get throughout the evening. Looking through their portfolio we already had a good feeling going into our meeting with them, afterwards we knew pretty much instantly it was the right choice. Kate and our wedding planner Ashley (Grit City) worked perfectly together to make sure we timed the photos just right, didn't cut into our time with friends and family, and captured beautiful moments. The result is an enormous collection of amazing photos; candids, portraits, awesome black and whites, some hilarious pics of friends and family going all out on the dance floor. Kate also did our engagement photoshoot at Deception Pass and the photos are equally incredible! These are just some of the details shots but they're still awesome
We made the process simple on purpose. Planning a wedding is already a lot. From your first inquiry to the moment your gallery lands in your inbox, every step is designed to keep you informed, comfortable, and confident that you made the right call.
12 to 18 months is the comfortable window. That said, we do sometimes have shorter-notice dates open - especially mid-week and off-season - and we don't believe in scarcity-based pressure. If your date is closer in, check our availability calendar before assuming it's too late.
Yes. Most Washington State weddings don't have travel fees. We've photographed in 100+ Snohomish County venues but we're also active across Seattle, Kitsap, Skagit, Whatcom, San Juans, and beyond. Outside Washington, we travel anywhere in the United States. Ask us - we'll send a custom quote.
Reach out through the contact form or availability calendar. We'll schedule a quick call (or coffee, if you're local) to talk through your day and what you're looking for. No pressure to book, no sales pitch - just a conversation so we can both find out if we're the right team for each other.
Yes. Our Journey Package is wedding-day photography only - no engagement session included. If you've already done one, or you don't want one, Journey is built for you. Engagement sessions are completely optional and we'll never push you toward one.
Kate has been photographing since 1997. Josh started in 2011. We've photographed 640+ weddings together across more than 15 years, specifically in the Seattle and Snohomish County area.
That's not a number for its own sake. It means when your timeline runs 20 minutes late, when clouds roll in over your outdoor ceremony, or when your reception venue is lit exclusively by Edison bulbs and bad overhead lighting - we've been there. Hundreds of times. We know exactly what to do.
As a husband-and-wife team, we also bring something no two-photographer strangers can replicate. We communicate without words, we read rooms together, and we move through your day as a unit. Field experience doesn't just produce better photos - it protects your whole day experience.
Honestly, you'll know pretty quickly. If you've read this far and thought "okay, these people feel like mine" - trust that. We're built for couples who want their wedding day to feel like themselves, not like a magazine spread. Couples who want a team that shows up - not just with cameras, but as timeline-holders, veil-fixers, granola-bar-deliverers, and two people who will absolutely tear up at your first look.
We're not the right fit for everyone, and that's okay - we'll tell you honestly if we're not. But if you want two people who'll show up early, stay late, cry at the first look, and keep the timeline running gently in the background, that's us.
That's exactly what we do.
In Snohomish County in 2026, full-day wedding photography typically runs $3,000 to $10,000+. Most couples working with an experienced, full-time photographer invest between $4,500 and $8,000.
What changes the number: hours of coverage, one or two photographers, years of experience, editing style, and what's included (prints, albums, second photographers, travel). Washington state sales tax of about 8.5-10.5% applies on top.
GSquared starts at $4,500 for nine hours of two-photographer coverage with all your digital images and full print rights. Nothing hidden. No surprise upsells. No tier where you have to choose which parts of your wedding day get photographed.
For a full breakdown, read our Snohomish County wedding photography pricing guide.
Documentary, story-first. In plain English: we're capturing what's actually happening on your wedding day, not directing it. The candid laugh in the middle of vows. The flower girl losing it during the recessional. Your dad's face when he sees you for the first time. That's the work.
We do guided posing for portraits because most people aren't trained models and a little direction helps everyone feel comfortable, but the rest of the day is yours.
Our editing is true to life. We call it Color Integrity. Your skin tone stays your skin tone. The colors you chose stay the colors you chose. Five, ten, twenty years from now, your wedding photos will still feel like your wedding - because we weren't editing for a trend.

All love. All bodies. All stories. Always welcome here.
We did our engagement and wedding photos with Kate and Josh, and we simply cannot recommend them enough. My partner and I are both a bit camera shy, but Kate had all the right directions and cues to make photos feel fun and natural, and was so great at making us feel comfortable and not-awkward. When we saw our sneak previews right after the wedding, we were floored at how incredible they were. Kate and Josh were MVPs on our wedding day. Not only were they super organized and able to wrangle every combination of family and group photos, they also checked in on us throughout the entire evening and made sure we were hydrated, happy, and where we needed to be at any given time. They are genuinely lovely - if you’re putting together a dream team for your wedding, you’re in the right place.
